Starters

Soup of the Day

 

Hot flaked smoked salmon, toasted muffin, soft poached egg, hollandaise sauce

 

Braised pigs’ cheek, black pudding & pearl barley ‘risotto’, parsnip crisps

 

Confit chicken leg & ham hock terrine, red onion marmalade, crispy toast, house salad

 

Sautéed wild mushrooms , garlic & thyme cream, toasted brioche, rocket salad

 

Potted prawns, crushed peas, watercress salad, pickled cucumber, crisp toast

 

Mains

Smoked haddock & leek risotto, soft poached egg, king scallop fritter

 

Rump of new season lamb, dauphinoise potatoes, cauliflower cheese puree, buttered kale, jus

 

Roasted red pepper stuffed with goats cheese and basil pesto risotto, rocket salad

 

Seared seabass fillet, mussel, clam & sweetcorn chowder, roasted baby potatoes, samphire

 

Braised belly of pork, new potato fondants, butternut squash puree, stock pot carrots, jus

 

Roast topside of Yorkshire beef (served pink), chicken
or ribeye (£5 supplement), thyme Yorkshire pudding, duck fat roasties, proper gravy (seasonal vegetables included)
